Cascavel é um município brasileiro do estado do Paraná, do qual é o quinto mais populoso, com 286.172 habitantes, conforme o Censo de 2010. Sua área é de 2.100,105 km².
Consideravelmente novo e com topografia privilegiada, teve seu desenvolvimento planejado, o que lhe deu ruas largas e bairros bem distribuídos.
